The production crew known as audiomachine — a vast army of musicians — is perhaps best known for the video game Call of Duty. But the group’s work, as it turns out, is just as effective on its own. Case in point: Remixed, in which audiomachine’s soundtracks get reworked by the likes of Digweed, Photek and more. “Reaching” was released by White Sea — aka Morgan Kibby of M83 — and it’s the perfect example of just how diverse audiomachine’s music is. The track is wide and expansive and sounds like an outtake from Hurry Up, We’re Dreaming, gleaming, purple sheets of synth pouring down like waterfalls, swelling and surging to a grant, anthemic finale.
